Peter Brown is the main lecturer and Managing Director of the Irish Institute of Financial Trading (IIFT). He is also a financial commentator across various media channels. As Executive Chairman of IIFT, Peter has been at the vanguard of developing training courses for would-be participants of the financial markets. He also delivers consultancy forums on a one-2-one basis.
His independence from the vested interests allows him to give an honest and forthright commentary on the possible consequences and solutions faced by the Irish economy. Formerly he worked as chief dealer and Head of the Treasury Team in Barclays Bank. Peter gained his extensive trading knowledge working in Citi Bank, Banque National de Paris and Ulster Bank.
