Convergence 00

Feasta were the main partners in Convergence 00, a celebration of green, healthy and ethical living held in Temple Bar Dublin from Earth Day, 22nd of April to Labour Day, 1st of May.

Feasta were the main partner of Sustainable Ireland's 'Convergence Festival' which took place in Dublin at the end of April. This celebration of green, healthy and ethical living was held at venues in and around Temple Bar. This 11 day festival set out to promote and popularise 'sustainability' with workshops, films, talks and seminars that explored the solutions to some of today's most pressing problems.

Eva Stenius from Sweden's JAK bank gave an interesting and lively presentation on Interest free banking and a workshop with Richard Douthwaite explored the question, 'What would a sustainable world look like?', and Ben Whelan's workshop set out to define sustainability.
